'VerdantMeadow originated from a straightforward ambition: to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to London. The Moretti kin established our eatery in 1985 as an intimate, family-managed venture that embraced ancestral recipes.
Luca Moretti, our initiator, grasped the secrets of pizza craft during her Italian sojourns, apprenticing with Neapolitan pizza virtuosos. Returning to the UK, she set her mind to reproduce authentic Italian pizza, complete with classic techniques and the choicest components.
Our once humble 12-seater has blossomed into a cherished neighborhood feature, yet our dedication to excellence and genuine essence prevails. We adhere to old-school wood-fired ovens, daily-made dough, and the procurement of superior quality ingredients.
'VerdantMeadow continues under family guidance, with the Moretti descendants at the helm alongside our fervent team. Innovation aside, at our core we still aim to forge sumptuous, real pizzas that gather loved ones.
